Translational Lab Secures First External Research Collaboration
Funded at the October 26th Hoag Innovators meeting, the Translational Lab has already secured a partnership on a brain tumor study led by Dr. Simon Khagi, director of neuro-oncology at Hoag.
Since being awarded $301,000 in partial funding by Hoag Innovators only two months ago, the Translational Lab has already secured its first external research collaboration. Dr. Simon Khagi, director of neuro-oncology at the Hoag Family Cancer Institute, will be partnering with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on a brain tumor study. This early and exciting development foreshadows many more collaborations to come, further elevating Hoag’s status as a valued partner in cancer research.
