Rare in community hospital settings, endowed chair positions are awarded to physicians alongside generous philanthropic funding to support innovative programs, technology, education, staffing, recruitment, and more. With 22 endowed chairs, the difference Hoag’s Endowed Chair Program makes on our patients and the community would not be possible without visionary support from Hoag donors. To highlight the impact of Hoag’s program, a newly designed gallery featuring photos and video of Hoag’s esteemed endowed chair holders and donors was recently installed and is ready for visitors. Patients, visitors, and staff can find the gallery within the south entry corridor of the hospital on Hoag’s Newport Beach campus.
