With generous community support for the Boldly Hoag campaign, construction is quickly progressing on the Sun Family Campus in Irvine. To ensure streamlined hospital access while new buildings are underway, Hoag is offering complimentary valet and shuttle services for patients and visitors. The shuttle, which is funded by philanthropy, operates daily and is just one example of the many ways Hoag donors are elevating the patient experience. Now adorned with Boldly Hoag campaign signage after receiving a recent makeover, the shuttle is a mobile reminder of Hoag's ambitious plans for expansion and an invitation to learn more about all that’s to come for patients and the community. Scheduled for completion in 2026, the expanded Sun Family Campus will feature three new pavilions for specialty care in women’s health, cancer, digestive health, and surgical innovation.

Shuttle passengers can get a sneak peek of construction while taking a ride across the Sun Family Campus. Transportation is provided from the main entrance of the hospital to the Ben & Carmela Du Emergency Pavilion and both new parking structures. Stops are also made at Hoag Health Center Sand Canyon for easy access to urgent care and specialty services, including imaging, breast, endoscopy, infusion, radiology, and more. The free shuttle offering aligns with Hoag’s efforts to deliver an unparalleled patient experience, a key pillar of its expansion. Other initiatives supported by the Boldly Hoag campaign include recruiting and retaining top talent and designing and building the future of health by investing in innovation at every turn.
