Hoag is Off to the Races with OC Marathon Title Sponsorship

Hoag OC Marathon builds on Hoag’s dedication to community health and creates opportunities for runners and supporters to raise funds.

In its ongoing commitment to fostering healthy communities, Hoag is sponsoring the 20th annual OC Marathon, now dubbed the Hoag OC Marathon. The popular Southern California running festival will welcome more than 22,000 runners during the weekend of May 3-5, 2024. A longtime sponsor of the Hoag Classic PGA Golf Tournament and the OC Soccer Club, as well as the official health care partner of the Los Angeles Chargers and most recently the World Surf League in California, Hoag’s support of the OC Marathon is a natural extension of its commitment to prevention and wellness.

“We envision a world in which people are empowered to achieve their best health, to live their best lives, and do their best work. By encouraging and promoting community-level sports, fitness, and activities, we are living our mission,” said Robert T. Braithwaite, President and CEO of Hoag.

The three-day event draws an international crowd of runners and running enthusiasts and boasts one of the best destination courses on the West Coast with a terrain that showcases majestic ocean views and stunning inland vistas. Runners can receive 20% off their registration with the code HOAG20 or run for free by teaming up with a charity of their choice, including the Hoag Hospital Foundation, to fundraise for a cause they care about. Both runners and spectators alike can also donate to Hoag independently of a specific fundraising goal to help create a healthier future for patients and families across Orange County.

If 26.2 miles aren’t for you, there are opportunities to participate in a half marathon and 5K run or walk. Kids can also join in as part of the Kids Run the OC Final Mile Empowered by Hoag event.

Register to run or make a gift to help Hoag go the distance!
