Kathleen Armstrong was Assistant General Counsel at Rockwell Corporation. After attending the ground-breaking ceremony of Hoag Hospital Irvine in 2010, she became the first Chair of the Hoag Irvine Advisory Committee. She was instrumental in building the committee and continues to be an ambassador for Hoag Hospital Irvine. She joined the Hoag Hospital Board of Directors in 2013 and now she serves as the HHF Board secretary. Kathie was the first executive director for Quiksilver Foundation and has served as a board member of the Humanitarian Fund for the Surf Industry Manufacturers Association. She lives with her husband and their three children in Irvine, California.
Rick is President and CEO of York Risk Services. Prior to York, Rick was a co-founder of a private equity group named Eventide Capital, a corporate securities lawyer with DLA Piper, and spent four years in Washington, D.C. working with public policy. Rick was named Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the year in 2017 and has been a recurring guest lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Rick is a lifelong resident of Newport Beach, where he resides with his wife Alexandra and their two daughters.
Jeremy M. Jones, is the Chairman of On Assignment, Inc., a publicly traded professional staffing firm, where he has served as a director since May 1995. From 1987 to 1995, Mr. Jones was Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Homedco Group, Inc., a home healthcare services company, which became publicly traded in 1991. Homedco merged into Apria Healthcare Group, Inc. in 1995 and from 1995 through January 1998, Mr. Jones was Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Apria Healthcare Group, Inc., which also provides home healthcare services. Mr. Jones has served as Chairman of the Board of Byram Healthcare Centers and was Chairman of LifeCare Solutions.
Trish Berchtold serves on the Nursing and Women’s Health Institute committees, and the Hoag Promise Campaign Steering Committee. With her husband, Mike, Trish established an endowed nursing scholarship in their name. She is a former Pediatric Oncology Nurse and she has worked at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Memorial Sloan Kettering.

A 20-plus year veteran in fundraising with an extensive background in managing highly successful university foundations, Flynn is implementing fundraising best practices to move the Hoag Hospital Foundation to the next level.
